In 2011, we have worked to make the Armutalan town as a contemporary and modern town. New works have implemented one by one in 2011. Now at this point, has changed the face of Armutalan Town. Has become a more livable city. After that we will continue to work in the same speed.

Malatyans Culture, Education, Assistance and Solidarity Association Board of Directors visited Mayor Muhammet Unlu in his office. Armutalan Mayor Unlu was satisfied with this visit and said that such associations are currently very important for us.
Travel Agents Association of Turkey (TURSAB) in partnership with the Armutalan Municipality held a groundbreaking ceremony of "TÜRSAB Armutalan Cultural Centre". As the host of the ceremony Armutalan Mayor Muhammet Unlu, TURSAB General Chairman Basaran Ulusoy, Mugla Governor Fatih Sahin, Marmaris Governor A. Serdar Polat, Marmaris Mayor Ali Acar and many guests attended the groundbreaking ceremony of "Tursab Armutalan Culturel Center".
Between the Armutalan Municipality and Municipal Workers' Union on collective agreements for the year 2012 was signed. Accordingly, Municipal-workers salary increases during this period, with the social rights and other rights is a daily hike in wage is 6 TL. Municipal - Business Mugla Agency Branch President Ender Akbay thanked to Mayor Muhammet Unlu because of they signed the contract as soon as and gave the desired rate hike As a result of the negotiations, 3-year contract was signed for 2012 salary increase for total 43 workers working in Armutalan Municipality. According to the contract, together with other rights and social rights for the year 2012 at a daily wage hike is 6 TL. Interviews will do again for increase in salary for the years 2013 and 2014.
Armutalan Mayor Muhammet Unlu went to the Klimovsk (about 30 kilometers away to Moskow) to make studies for sister city and to participate in the youth festival in Moscow.
